Rules for College League
The rules for these games are the WFDF 2017 rules, with the following differences:
- Mixed rule
Let 'Endzone X' be the endzone in which the team who begins the game on offence begins. For each point, the team starting in Endzone X chooses how many women to play. This team chooses whether to field two, three, or more women. The defence must at least match this number, and forfeits a player for each woman they are short. However, if the team choosing number of women plays 4 or more women, assume that they are only playing 3 for the purposes of this rule (i.e., if the team in Endzone X plays between 3 and 7 women, the opposing team can play 3 women without penalty, or 2 women with a 1-player penalty). - Hard Cap at 13 points
This means that game is over as soon as a team scores their thirteenth point. Half time is at 7 points. - 60 minute time limit
Time runs from when the first "pull" of the match is released. When the time limit is reached, someone calls out "Time" loudly so that everyone playing can hear. Continue playing until the next point is scored. - 1 point Soft Cap
After "Time" has been called, and the point finished, add 1 point to the highest score. Continue playing points; the game finishes when one team reaches this target. - Timeouts
Each team has a single two-minute timeout per half - Team composition
Fielding fewer than 5 players is an automatic forfeit. No more than 2 non-students may be fielded at once by either team (with certain exceptions as outlined by the League Organiser).
