Cambridge Mixed at Worlds

This is just a short note to report back from the last week and say thank you from both myself and the team for all the support that you have given us as we prepared for Worlds. It was a great honour to represent our community and I'm really proud of the team for performing as well as they did. For those who weren't able to follow all the ups and downs here is a brief summary (please excuse the slightly self congratulatory tone, it's not often you get to brag on this scale!):
We finished as the 6th best team in the world. This is the highest for any non-North American team in the mixed division. We got their with key victories over Wild Card (USA, 9th, 14-11), IKU (Japan, 17th, 14-13), Bear Cavalry (GB, 12th, 15-14) and Hanabi (Japan, 7th, 16-11). We also played an amazing half of Ultimate against the eventual winners, Drag'n Thrust in which we went up 9-7 turning the disc over only once.
I hope that this isn't the end for Cambridge as a centre for excellence and though the dust has barely settled on our adventure my mind is spinning with ways to keep the momentum going.
